Year 10 Personal Projects 2018 -

Global Jaya School, Year 10's featured their Personal Projects recently in the theatre and foyer and what a show it was!  All students, parents and teachers should take pride in all PP's displayed, 103 in total!  Congratulations to all involved and a special thanks to PP supervisors (secondary teachers) along with parents and bu Popy and pak Patrick.

TERM 1 (Week 9)

Dear GJS Community:There are Year groups in Secondary participating in excursions in and around Jakarta and to Bali Island this week.  Most of these Service as Action trips in Year 8/9 were initiated by MYP students; the inaugural "Week without Walls"programme has begun (24th-28th Sept).  In addition, Year 10's are travelling to Cidahu, located in Kuningan area for a teamwork and bonding week.  The Year 1 to Year 6 students have their Athletics Carnival Day on Monday, 24th September and Kindergarten and Reception enjoy their Carnival Day on Tuesday, 25th of September.  We wish all an active, safe, fun and memorable week!

Secondary Athletics House Carnival - 24th January 2018

The skies were bright, and house team spirit was loud and proud on the fields and courts for the annual Athletics Sports House Carnival. We congratulate all houses for showing their strengths in all events including the very important 'cheering' competition.  On the day, Elang was victorious, with Garuda and Rajawali a close 2nd - 3rd. Varsity Soccer Season Starts!

The GJS Girls' Varsity Soccer began on Saturday morning, August 11th with a league game vs SPH-KV.  The match ended in a 2-2 draw; Sabreena Dressler was able to find the back of the net with a heavy strike and with only minutes on the clock.  Well done Girls' and Coach Pak Mike!
